Where do you claim as home?

My community of friends and collaborators is my home. I originally grew up in Sogndal, Norway, have claimed Savannah, GA as my home for the past four years, and about to make New York my home.

What Makers and Artists inspire you and inform your aesthetic?

John Cage is a big inspiration for me. His explorative and innovative nature of pushing the boundaries of art and sound is something I strive for in everything I do. Also inspired by Darkfield, Nuno Fonseca and the Sound Particles universe, Punchdrunk, Sondre Justad, Murray Schafer, Brian Eno and Imogen Heap.

What is your perfect restful day?

A perfect restful day is a day where I get to sleep in, eat a good breakfast and then either going to the gym or out in nature for a hike. At the end of the day, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, eating chips and salsa, and having deep conversations about life.

What’s one quality you value in collaborators and what’s one you bring to every collaboration?

One quality I value in collaborators is being open to new ideas and ways of doing and thinking. I bring creative innovation to every collaboration.

If you could only listen to one piece of music for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Only one piece ??? This question breaks my heart. I would probably say LoFi beats, or just the Sondre Justad collection. I am 100% sure that I am the biggest listener of Sondre Justad in the US already, lol!

Something underrated?

Hanging out with friends and talking is underrated. I don’t need to do any crazy games or activites, I just enjoy company and conversations with those I love!

Multiverse Theory? Exists or not?

Although I am a fan of multiverse theories, I don’t believe in it. However, I think telling stories with multiple universes provides us a playing field where we can reflect about ourselves, our relationships and our culture, which I am a huge fan of.
